 Our bright and reflective safety vests help keep pets safe by increasing their visibility during outdoor activities.  Ideal for nighttime walks and exercise sessions.  Walking alongside a very visible pet companion also helps to improve the safety of the pet owners.  Our durable lightweight, comfortable vest has an outer polyester shell with an inner nylon layer and comes in fluorescent orange.  Features quick release cotton straps and two strips of reflective tape for added visibility.  Vest can be adjusted at the neck, chest, belly and waist for a comfortable, streamlined fit. 

Fall hunting season is a dangerous time to be in the woods.  If you like autumn hiking, you probably know how to protect yourself, but don't forget that your dog needs the same kind of visual protection. Know when hunting season begins and ends.  It's different depending on your state.  Bow season generally lasts longer than firearm season.  Contact your state Department of Natural Resources for this information. 

As soon as the season begins, you and your dog should wear blaze orange in hunting areas.  Keep your dog leashed as much as possible while hiking in the woods.  Make yourself known audibly.  If you see a hunter, announce yourself.  Seek hiking areas where hunting is not allowed during this time.  It's still a good idea to dress your dog in a protective vest in case he wanders outside the boundaries of a protected area.

These vest can also protect your dog from thorny burrs that are so common in the fall.
